HCL, in association with Hindustan Times & Noida Authority, organized ‘Plant for Life’ from 17th July - 4th September 2015. The aim of this campaign was to make Noida a much greener and therefore, less-polluted city to live in.
The campaign received significant promotion and coverage across various media such as newspaper and radio (featuring sound bites of participating students). On the online medium a dedicated site featuring participating schools and winners was created and buzz was generated across social media platforms.
HCL along with National Geographic Channel launched the HCL-Nat Geo Instawalks. As part of this contest, participants were asked to shoot how aspects of 'Technology, Health and People' touched their everyday lives. Apart from the online contest, 3 walks comprising of 30 Instagrammers were conducted across Delhi and Gurgaon, giving the participants the opportunity to 'experience' Delhi & Gurgaon like never before! The walk was documented by the individuals on Instagram. The event got an amazing response with 10,000+ registrations. The effort resulted in the capturing of innumerable beautiful shots of the city, all of which can be viewed under the hashtag WeTouchLives on Instagram.
